From
accountant to TV personality is an unconventional route. Andy Zajac is
a former accountant that made the transition into producing sales videos,
demonstration videos, commercials, infomercials, and now produces a television
series entitled "Profiles of Success". The program features
Canadian and American entrepreneurs and entertainers, including such well-known
names as Mitsou, The Nylons, Barney Bental, Alanis, Bob Proctor, The Ballinger
Brothers and ROOTS Canada owners Don Green and Michael Budman.
Profiles of Success first aired in January of 1993 on CHCH-TV Channel 11 on Saturday mornings and had an impressive viewership. Due to its popularity, the series was repeated in the spring. The program shows clips of the guests at work, whether it's in concert, creating a painting, or making a film.
Andy has been busy, moving his career from accounting to video and television production. He began in community television in 1987.
He then went on to form his own company, Andy Zajac Productions Inc. which produces 30 second and 60 second commercials, promotional, trade show and demonstration videos. One of these, "How to Use Your Cellular Phone" was produced for Bell Mobility. A series of seven infomercials, those half hour commercials seen on late night TV entitled " The Consumer Shopping Guide" gave the background on the products and services of 30 companies in a story-like fashion.
Andy brings his talent, approach and sophisticated techniques into the production of videos for business and consumer use.
